Nissan Pathfinder Dashcam Installation: A Clean Plug-and-Play Finish at Our Office
On October 19, 2026, Dashcam Craft completed a front-and-rear dashcam installation on a Nissan Pathfinder at our office. The project paired a TERUNSOUL camera system with a neat plug-and-play installation, giving the vehicle a practical camera setup while keeping the cabin looking tidy.
The focus was on the finish: thoughtful camera positioning, neatly managed cables, and an installation that fitted comfortably into the Pathfinder’s interior.
The vehicle and camera setup
The Nissan Pathfinder’s spacious cabin makes the appearance of an installation particularly noticeable. Wiring has to travel between the front and rear cameras, and the way that cable is managed affects how the finished job looks throughout the vehicle.
For this installation, the TERUNSOUL system included a windscreen-mounted front camera with a built-in screen and a separate compact rear camera. This arrangement provides camera coverage in both directions, rather than relying solely on the view through the front windscreen.
The installation photos document the front camera mounting, the rear camera position, and a wider view through the cabin.
A tidy front camera installation
The front camera was mounted near the rear-view mirror. Its position keeps the camera grouped with the existing windscreen hardware, helping the installation look organised rather than leaving equipment spread across the dashboard.
Close-up photographs show the camera on its mount, with its connections entering at the top of the unit. The screen and side controls remain accessible for operating the camera and navigating its settings.

The wider cabin photograph puts that positioning into context: the camera occupies a small area near the mirror, while the dashboard remains visually uncluttered.
Compact rear camera placement
At the back of the Pathfinder, the separate rear camera sits close to the rear window. Its compact housing keeps the installation discreet while providing a rear-facing viewpoint.
A front-and-rear installation needs attention at both ends of the vehicle. The rear camera’s position and the handling of its connecting cable contribute just as much to the finished appearance as the more visible front unit.

This project brought those elements together in a setup that looked neat throughout the cabin.
Plug-and-play convenience with attention to detail
This was a plug-and-play installation, chosen for straightforward everyday use. A simple connection method still benefits from careful fitting: camera placement, cable management, and the overall appearance all matter.
That was the defining feature of this Pathfinder installation. The result was a clean, orderly setup that complemented the interior and avoided unnecessary clutter around the dashboard.
For owners considering a similar installation, the power arrangement should be discussed alongside the camera choice. Driving recording and recording while parked can have different power requirements, so parking coverage should be confirmed as part of the agreed installation scope.
The finished result
The completed Nissan Pathfinder installation demonstrates how much the fitting contributes to the final result. The camera system is only one part of the job; where the cameras sit and how the wiring is managed determine how comfortably the equipment fits into the vehicle.

Completed at our office on October 19, this project delivered a neat plug-and-play finish, with a TERUNSOUL front camera near the mirror, a compact rear camera, and a tidy overall appearance.
